Plan Your VisitWhat to Expect
Visiting somewhere new can bring a lot of questions. Here are a few things you may want to know before you arrive.
What Kind of Clothes Should I Wear?
Come as you are. You will see people in shirts and ties along with others in shorts and t-shirts, plus many people wear clothing that represents their homeland. When we come together, we seek to “put on Christ” and pursue “kingdom culture”!
How Long Does Service Typically Last?
Worship services are planned for an hour and fifteen minutes and typically never last longer than ninety minutes, even on days of special focus. You will often find people enjoying each other’s company long after the service is over!
What Is There for My Kids?
There is so much for children (newborn through 5th grade) with Forcey Kids, including Sunday School during the 11:00 service and Christian Service Brigade for boys on Thursday evenings. The goal of Forcey Kids is to partner with parents to nurture children’s faith in Jesus Christ.
What Are the Worship services Like?
Our worship services are blended with rich traditional hymns and creatively expressed contemporary music. Music may be accompanied by piano, organ, our house band with rhythm section, orchestra, or an ensemble of vocalists.
Where Do I Park?
We have a large parking lot right on our church property with plenty of accessible parking spaces. You can enter the lot from Randolph Road or Old Columbia Pike.
Where Do I Go Once I Arrive?
You can’t miss the main doors, and you will see others headed that way. Just inside is our Welcome Center, where you can connect with a member of our church family for more information. The Worship Center is just to your left, and children’s ministries are down the hall to your right.
Can I Bring My Own Coffee?
Great question — of course! We also have a café and would love to bless you with coffee and some snacks. We do ask that food and drinks stay outside of the Worship Center to help keep it clean and welcoming.
Will I Be Struck by Lightning?
Believe it or not, we get asked this a lot. Too many people feel they have done something to displease God and will not be accepted in a church. If you aren’t perfect, you’ll fit right in with us.
We believe Jesus came to give LIGHT, not lightning.
“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” — John 3:17
What Is There Besides the Worship Service?
During both the 9:15 and 11:00 services, we offer Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) for adults. ABFs feature Bible teaching and provide smaller communities within our larger church family.
