Dear Forcey Family,

I have had Lamentations 3:19-24 on my heart today:

I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning – great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, the Lord is my portion, therefore I will wait for him.

I know that wherever you are today, the Lord is seeking to meet you with new mercy!

Sunday we will be livestreaming at 10am. You can find us at www.forcey.org/live. You can also find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/forceyconnects. We will enjoy a time of welcome, worship, prayer, and message together. I will be sharing a message called “Certain Hope” from Luke 7:11-35 about “seeing Jesus when He doesn’t seem to be seeing you.” Please do share this message with whoever you can! We will also be sharing a time of communion together at the end of the message. Please be prepared with some bread and juice – whatever you can find that best represents the body and blood of Jesus. The power is not in the symbols themselves but in what they represent!

I want to encourage you about three other things:

  • Please continue to pray for the Lord to provide for our ministry in this season, according to His promise to “meet all our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
