If you’re new with Forcey, you’re not alone. In our very transient region, people are constantly coming and going. Many are finding meaningful community with our church whether they are here for a short season or a lifetime.

We gather for worship every Sunday at 9:00 & 11am.
We are a Jesus-centered, Bible teaching, church in the Washington D.C. Metro region. People from more than sixty nations and every generation are calling Forcey “home.”
What to Expect
What Kind of Clothes Should I Wear?
Come as you are. You will see people in shirts and ties along with others in shorts and t-shirts, plus many people wear clothing that represents their homeland. When we come together, we seek to “put on Christ” and pursue “kingdom culture”!
How Long Does Service Typically Last?
Worship services are planned for an hour and fifteen minutes and typically never last longer than ninety minutes even on days of special focus. Although, you will still find people around here enjoying each other’s company long after service is over!
What is there for my kids?
There is so much for children (newborn through 5th grade) with Forcey Kids, including Sunday School during both morning services, TeamKID on Wednesday evenings, and Christian Service Brigade for boys on Thursday evenings. The goal of Forcey Kids is to partner with parents to nurture children’s faith in Jesus Christ.Learn more about our kids programs!
What are the worship services like?
Our worship services are blended with rich traditional hymns and creatively expressed contemporary music. The music is usually accompanied by piano, organ, our house band w/rhythm section, orchestra or an ensemble of vocalists.
Where do I park?
We have a large parking lot right on our church property. The lot has plenty of handicapped spaces. You can enter the lot from Randolph Road or from Old Columbia Pike.
Where do I go once I arrive?
You can’t miss the main doors and you will see others headed that way. Just inside those doors is a Welcome Center where you can connect with a member of our church family for more information. The Worship Center will be just to your left and children’s ministries down a hall to your right.
Can I bring my own coffee?
Great question – of course! We also have a café and we would love to bless you with coffee and some snacks there. We do try to keep food and drink out of the Worship Center in order to keep it as clean and fresh as possible.
Will I be struck by lightning?
Believe it or not, we get asked this a lot. Too many people feel they have done something to displease God and will not be accepted in a church. If you aren’t perfect, you’ll fit right in with us. We believe Jesus came to give LIGHT, not lightning. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him” (John 3:17).
What is there besides the worship service?
During both the 9:00 and 11:00 services, we offer “Adult Bible Fellowships” (ABFs) for adults. The ABFs feature a particular focus of Bible teaching and function as smaller families with our whole church family.
