Resources for Parents – Racial Injustice

July 20, 2020 | Kelly Herndon

In case you missed it, here is FBC’s stance on Racial Reconciliation that the board affirmed on June 14.
We are called to love each other as Christ has loved us. If you have experienced unloving behavior by another at FBC, approach that person in love and use Matthew 18:15-20 as your guide. If need be, please also reach out to me, one of our staff members, pastors, trustees, or elders. (This is not just limited to race, but any continual unloving behavior.)
Pray for our church family, our community, and our nation as people are seriously grieved over the systemic racism that has been so highlighted recently. Pray for healing through Jesus and love from the Church.
