CHRISTMAS!!!!

We have something fun and exciting!

We are asking anyone in grades kindergarten – 5th grade to participate in Forcey Bible Church Virtual Christmas Program.

There are 2 song videos that your child can watch and follow the words and motions. The videos below will provide demonstration for these songs – Shine On Us & What Can I Give Him.

These are MP3 files of the demonstration version of these songs as well.

After they have practiced, you can record them singing on your phone.

Your child should watch the video when you record them so that their timing and motions are together. (This will be clearer when you watch it yourself)

- Your child should “mirror” the motions that Mrs. Ford teaches them on the demonstration video.
- They should wear their “Christmas Best” when recording.
- We want your phone to record HORIZONTAL and as close to them as possible that allows us to see their face and their motions.
- Try to record your child standing in front of a plain wall. (try to remove personal items and pictures etc that would show up in the video) We are hoping to match the children’s videos by having a blank, light, solid background for each of them if possible.
- Away in a Manger has longer phrases than the song you are used to singing. Same tune just holding out words longer. It is possible that the youngest children are able to sing Away in A Manger but that the other parts of the song are too complex, PLEASE FEEL FREE to submit just that first part of “What Can I Give Him” that includes Away in a Manger.
- What Can I Give Him has parts where children sing and then it’s just adults. You don’t have to record them not singing. Mrs. Ford is singing the children’s parts ONLY in the video.

Your child does not have to be perfect at all! We are putting them all together and no one will stand out or be embarrassed. Our church family will be so blessed to see them worship the Lord as a part of this unique Christmas production.

PLEASE USE THE HIGHEST RESOLUTION VIDEO that you can on your phone. Ideally, we would like your videos to be 1920 x 1080p at 30fps (or 29.97 frames per second).

ALL VIDEO SUBMISSION MUST BE IN BY SATURDAY DEC. 5^th.
