Good Friday Encouragement

April 10, 2020 | Michael Foster

Dear Forcey Family,

My heart is so encouraged by Hebrews 4:14-16 on this Good Friday:

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Today, let’s approach God’s throne of grace with confidence as we hunger together for Him!

Our Good Friday experience begins at 3:00 TODAY and continues until 9:00!

It’s “Six Hours One Passion” and features teaching focused on the cross of Christ at the start of every hour from 6 different pastors (including two of our own). You can find us for those six hours at www.forcey.org/live and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/forceyconnects.

You can also download a special “Worship Guide” that will lead you through the whole experience:

The guide includes prayer points, scriptures for meditation, and suggested activities to lead you and your family in hungering for God!

Also, from 7:00 – 8:00 tonight, Dennis Karp of Chosen People Ministries will present a Passover Seder experience called “Messiah in the Passover.” This will be a very special opportunity for us! You can learn more about it here:

Sunday we will worship our Risen Savior together via our livestream at 10am! You can find us at www.forcey.org/live or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/forceyconnects. We will share in testimonies and music from many in our Forcey family and I will share a message called “Living Hope” from Luke 24.

Friends, would you do something with me right now? Would you take 60 seconds and ask the Lord who He wants you to invite to our Good Friday and/or Easter Services? The Lord is opening the hearts of many during this season! Who can you invite to worship with us and hear the gospel?

Let’s continue to “fix our eyes on Jesus together” –

With you and for you,

Pastor Michael Foster
