Updated May 30, 2020 by Traci Tang & Deborah Fusco (2020-2021 Co-Coordinators)
MOPS is designed for all mothers of preschool age children from birth to 5 years and MomsNext is designed for moms of kids first grade and up.
You care for your family, but are you caring for yourself?
Where do you find time to recharge?
Who answers your questions?
Who listens to your heart?
The answer is here at Forcey MOPS/ MomsNext! These ministries are here to nurture and strengthen you! Whether you are in the midst of pregnancy, have a toddler (or 2), an energetic preschooler or a student navigating those elementary school years, we are here for you! This is a place that provides the opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, learn, laugh, ask questions and learn Biblical principles pertaining to womanhood, marriage and parenting.
Forcey MOPS Ministry and COVID-19
COVID-19 has changed almost all aspects of our lives, but one thing it has not changed is our need for Christ, community and each other. Here at Forcey MOPS we are dedicated to providing support, Biblical encouragement and continued community during these difficult times.
Plans for next year’s MOPS program are underway. While there is still a lot of uncertainty about when Forcey MOPS will be able to meet as a large group with childcare, we will be starting in September with virtual and/or small group meetings.
We are incorporating several changes due to our unique circumstances and not being able to meet in person. Meeting Registration fees for 2020-2021 are being reduced to the $32 non-refundable MOPS International Dues. Additionally, MOPSKids fees will be prorated based on its actual start date, which is currently unknown. If finances are an issue, please contact us as scholarships are available!
We understand that some of you may be hesitant to register for MOPS until we can confirm childcare, so rest assured that registration will be open all year. You may join us whenever you feel comfortable.
Community is a vital aspect of MOPS, and we are going to do what we can, while following CDC and State guidelines, to meet in person, be it with small groups or larger groups. However, we know that everyone has different comfort levels when it comes to re-emerging from quarantine and starting to interact with others. We expect our transition back to large group meetings to be slow and look different for different moms. We will continue to offer community and encouragement via multiple formats until all our moms feel comfortable back in a large group setting.
Over the summer we will continue to minister to our community via virtual gatherings, Facebook discussions and newsletters. If you would like to be a part of this community for the summer, and/or have questions about our ministry please email us at [email protected].

“Decide to Rise”
We want to tell you two things that will change your life if you believe them. First, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Second, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you have work to do.
So this is the year we arise as mothers to awaken a weary and sleeping world. The year to accept and believe that God will fulfill his promises to you, and to embrace your motherhood as a catalyst to His plans and promises for you. There are four things we will do to remind ourselves of who God made us to be: Draw closer to God, Be Strong, Do Your Work and Chase Joy.
“…in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39

MOPSKids is our affectionately termed MOPS childcare program that runs parallel to the MOPS meetings. It is available for children aged 4 months through 5 years. Ages two through five enjoy preschool-like activities and teaching. All teachers are trained and have undergone a background check. Each child must be registered to participate in MOPSKids. Children younger than 4 months are welcome and loved with mom at the MOPS meetings. (MOPSKids is only available for MOPS not MOMSnext registrants.)
