Mothers Of Preschoolers (MOPS)
The Forcey MOPS group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Forcey Memorial Church from 9:15–11:30 a.m. Child care is provided for ages 3 months through five years old. The registration fee for the 2010-2011 year will be $79. $24 goes to MOPS International registration fees and $55 goes to group dues. Dues are payable in full or as two installments of $20 in the fall and $35 in the spring. Full or partial scholarships are available. We are a fun, inspiring, and encouraging group of moms with preschoolers that meet to eat and socialize without interruptions, do a craft with sharp scissors, and recharge our batteries while our children are cared for in a loving environment around the corner and out of ear shot!
The theme for the 2010-2011 year is Momology: The Art and Science of Mothering. Throughout the year we will explore the scientific side of mothering (experimenting until we find what works best for us) and the artistic side of mothering (a blending of personality, unique gifts, and experiences). Come and join us as we learn how to be the best moms we can be by guiding our children to a better future and a better world.

Call for Volunteers
The MOPS ministry is supported by the MOPPETS childcare program, which provides loving, curriculum-based childcare while the moms meet. If you love children and would like to help care for them, contact Maryellen Stuart at 301-589-7527.
MOPPETS is also looking for a person with a gift for administration, someone who can coordinate the volunteers working with the children during MOPS meetings. This administrative position is open to anyone, not just to mothers of preschoolers, who has a desire to minister to moms and their children.
