Mother's Day Out

Mother’s Day Out is a program for 2 and 3 year-olds designed to give children a pre-school “preview” while giving moms a morning off. Our teachers are loving, Christian women who have a heart for children. MDO offers playtime, snack time, bible stories and singing, and craft time for your child. Our program runs Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays from September 8, 2010 through May 27, 2011. We are open from 9:30am – 1:30pm. Your child must be 2 (or 3) years of age by September 1, 2010 in order to enroll. Monthly tuition is $70 per child/per day enrolled for the 2010-2011 year, plus a one-time $30 registration fee. Children can be enrolled for a maximum of 2 days.

Please note that MDO will be closed on the following dates:

November 24 and 26, 2010 for Thanksgiving

December 21 - 31, 2010 for Christmas Break

January 17, 2011 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

February 21, 2011 for President’s Day

April 18 - 22, 2011 for Easter Vacation

MDO will follow the lead of Forcey Christian School (FCS) for school closings and delays as follows: 1) If FCS calls for a one hour delay, MDO will begin at 10:30am. 2) If FCS closes early, MDO will close at 12:30pm unless you are otherwise notified. 3) Exception: If FCS has a previously scheduled day off, then MDO will follow Montgomery County Schools for all weather related delays, early departures, and closings. If Montgomery County has a previously scheduled day off, we will follow Prince George’s County. Please listen to WTOP radio for Forcey Christian School announcements. School delays and closings will also be posted on the FCS Website, www.forceychristianschool.org, and parents will usually receive notification via email. Announcements regarding delayed openings will typically be made by 6:30am. Announcements regarding early dismissals will normally be made by noon.

Registration for the 2011-2012 session is Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 9:00am at Forcey Church. At the time of registration, you will be asked to pay the first month’s tuition ($70) and a $35.00 registration fee.
